
Elanna G. Honan earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts from Boston University in 2020, followed by a Master’s in Art Education from the same institution in 2021. She began her teaching career at Torit Montessori School in Boston, MA, where she taught art from 2021 to 2023.
In the fall of 2023, Elanna relocated to Madrid, Spain, to work as an English Language Assistant (Auxiliar de Conversación) at a bilingual public school, expanding her teaching experience in an international setting. She returned to Massachusetts in the summer of 2024 and currently teaches 7th grade art at Concord Middle School in Concord, MA.
This website showcases a curated selection of Elanna's favorite works created between 2018 and the present. Her artistic practice is rooted in watercolor and, more recently, water-soluble oil paint. Her style blends vibrant colors, bold patterns, and elements of photorealism with expressive, abstract brushwork.
Elanna is passionate about developing creative projects that both inspire and engage her students and audience, inviting them to explore the dynamic possibilities of color and visual expression.
